Are You Even a Knight takes place in a medieval landscape where players play as the knight whose mission is to navigate through the open world to defeat the demon and save the princess. Throughout the game, the player must collect necessary items before slaying the demon by solving various puzzles in the vast open world. 

The basic controls are arrow keys to move the knight around the world and actions will execute automatically upon interacting with objects. The map is an open world composed of individual rooms where the player will have to memorize where they are in the world to avoid being lost in the wild.
